My mission is to work with you in bringing your brand’s creative story and personality to life. Through research and strategy, together we will create a branding experience that stands out from the crowd, speaks to your audience and elevates your business to the next level.
I love to craft unique brand identities from the ground up, and I still walk around with a sketchbook and hand illustrate fonts every chance I get. I believe your brand should be as unique as you, and a generic logo and brand identity just won’t cut it.

Hi there, I’m Janita Doms, the designer, the director and the brains behind Janita Doms Design Studio. I have been in the design industry professionally for the past 10 years, however my passion for design started at a very young age. Back then, it was the creativity that I loved. Now, it is combining creativity with communication and strategy to produce something that matters.
Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to work on a large range of different brands and projects which has enabled me to gain vast experience in the design world. The last agency being a successful international advertising company in Cape Town, Ogilvy, which was the most amazing learning school and I will forever be thankful for the mentors I had there.
Long story short, after advertising life I moved to the country side with my now farmer husband and opened my own “shop” – Janita Doms Design. I enjoy every aspect of design, however my main passion is branding for exciting new or small businesses. I specialise in creating beautiful, meaningful and approachable brands that represent the personality of a business and tell their story. I honestly adore my job so much and I feel absolutely blessed to be able to call what I do “work.”
If I’m not busy with a project you will find me in my garden with my two kids, or drinking a beautiful wine with my husband. We can’t live in the Winelands and NOT drink wine can we 😉
